Sukawa Kougen Onsen／Ichinoseki, Iwate

This hot spring is situated 1,126m above sea level, areas that were once lava, it is now surrounded by shrubs and alpine plants. 6000 litres of hot water flows through every minute. The wonderful scenery spreads beneath your eyes, as you sit atop a sea of clouds, and look out at the sunset over Mt. Chokai to the west.
